Kilfrost BTB is a low viscosity Propylene Glycol based fluid designed for use in pneumatic systems where water removal and the prevention of freezing are more important than lubricity.

Kilfrost BTB is useful in a wide variety of applications but is especially used for impact moles and diaphragm pumps. It is also used in the air lines of certain air braking systems where alcohol containing fluids would be unacceptable, e.g. passenger trains (BR Catalogue No. 7/29215).

Kilfrost BTB is a synthetic lubricant based on Monopropylene Glycol which means it is non-hazardous and fully biodegradable. It should not be mixed with other lubricants as this will impair its ice prevention properties.
