Kilfrost GDF is a highly efficient ice melting fluid for ground use. Primarily intended for cold de-icing operations GDF is non-flammable, non toxic and readily biodegradable.

Due to its low viscosity and freeze point characteristics GDF can be readily applied using the simplest equipment, even at temperatures as low as -20ºC.

In combination with a back pack sprayer, or larger equipment, GDF will rapidly melt frozen deposits leaving a non slippery surface. Typical application rate for ground frost is 20 g/m². GDF is intended for use undiluted.

Kilfrost GDF is suitable for use on a range of surfaces (concrete, bitumen, metal and wood) to remove frost, ice and snow deposits. This makes it an ideal product for use on car parks walkways, platforms and pavements. GDF is a safe alternative to rock salt and urea.
